Pasture Raised at Bauman's Cedar Valley Farms means daily access to fresh grass and bugs! Hens and Turkeys get to sleep indoors, then run out to the pasture for their grains, grass snacks and water. Meat chickens are lazier, so we have to move their entire house each day to fresh grass. As a mono-gastric, poultry can supplement up to 30% of their diet with grass and bugs.
